Tottenham Defeats Manchester City Despite Harry Kane’s Absence

The odds were up against Tottenham in their latest Premier League match, but that didn’t stop them from destroying Manchester City. The Spurs managed to score a 1-0 win against Premier League champions despite Harry Kane’s absence from the pitch. The South Korean forward Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the entire game, giving Tottenham a much-deserved lead. As the game progressed, the Spurs stood firm in the face of pressure from Man City and eventually celebrated the victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as their opponents failed to stop them in their track. Despite Tottenham’s amazing performance, Harry Kane’s was the talk of the night. His future with the Spurs is hanging in the air amid the ongoing transfer saga between two teams. Rumor has it that Manchester City is ready to pay £127 million to sign Kane from Tottenham, but nothing has been confirmed just yet. Man City’s defeat comes shortly after they struck a £100 million deal with Jack Grealish, but the team’s boss Pep Guardiola was satisfied with his performance despite the loss. "He was excellent. He played with a personality and created chances. Unfortunately, we could not win for him for his debut but he played really well. In terms of give me the ball he doesn't lose the ball, he is so dangerous close to the box,” Guardiola told BBC.
