Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe Start Their First PSG Game Together

Ever since Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain, football fans couldn’t wait for him to hit the pitch alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. The all-star trio finally played their first PSG game together, but was the outcome as glorious as we expected? PSG kicked off their Champions League campaign with a game against Club Brugge, but the disappointing game ended up with a draw. Messi lined up for the first time alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but that wasn’t enough to lead the French club to victory. Hans Vanaken scored the only goal for PSG, while the all-star trio struggled to make their mark. Mbappe was replaced after 51 minutes due to an injury, while Messi got a yellow card in the second half. PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t too disappointed by this outcome and made it clear it will take some time to create a team and get the best out of his players even before the game started. "With those names, you can get the feeling that we are 'the team to beat' but it is Chelsea, the defending champions, who are the team to beat. We are a club that bought a lot of players this summer and recruited some very big names but we must convert all of this as a team,” explained Pochettino.
