Manchester United is in Trouble After Disappointing Loss to Leicester City

Manchester United faced many ups and downs since the beginning of the Premier League season, and their latest match was definitely a down. The Red Devils lost 4-2 to Leicester City, leaving football experts wondering about the team’s chances for the rest of the season. One of the most disappointing things about this defeat is the fact it took place at Leicester’s King Power Stadium, ending United's run of 29 unbeaten away Premier League matches. The loss is also difficult to bear because the Red Devils took an early lead with Mason Greenwood’s 19-minute goal, but Leicester made a comeback thanks to Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu. Things went downhill for United from there, and Marcus Rashford’s equalizer wasn’t enough to lead them to victory. Leicester made a comeback when Jamie Vardy scored a goal just a minute after Rashford, and Patson Daka eventually led his team to a triumphant win with his very first Premier League goal. Many are blaming this loss – and United’s recent disappointing run – on the club’s manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He’s admitted they have not been in great form lately, but he’s trying to keep his hopes up. “We have to dust ourselves off. Make sure that when we come in again, freshen our minds, we've looked ourselves in the mirror, I've looked myself in the mirror, and make sure we perform. That is the nature of football, you have to respond to set-backs,” said Solskjaer after the match.
