Manchester United is Back to Top Form in Confident Win Against Tottenham

The start of the Premier League season has been pretty rocky for Manchester United, but they showed signs of brilliance in their latest match. The Red Devils were back to the top form and easily cruised past the Tottenham Hotspurs in their latest face-off on Wednesday. United owes their latest victory to the amazing performance of their strikers Fred and Bruno Fernandes, who scored two goals in the second half, leading the Red Devils to a 2-0 win. Home advantage didn’t hurt their case, either, since the match took place at Old Trafford. United’s epic victory was overshadowed by Cristiano Ronaldo's walk-off before the final whistle. Manager Erik ten Hag said that he didn’t give his behavior too much thought, choosing to focus on the team’s performance instead. “I don’t pay attention today [to this]. We deal with that tomorrow. We want to focus on this team, it was a magnificent performance from all 11 players. I have seen him [leaving], I didn’t speak to him after,” said Ten Hag post-match. Manchester United’s latest win keeps them fifth in the Premier League rankings, while Tottenham remains third after missing the chance to surpass Man City. Arsenal is still the leader with a total of 27 points, four ahead of Man City and Spurs.
