After spending his entire career in Barcelona, Messi left in the face of the club’s financial troubles and joined PSG in 2021. After having some difficulty adjusting during the first season, he quickly regained form and scored his 700th senior career club goal with PSG. If Messi’s deal with PSG falls through, several clubs already expressed interest in him, including his former club Barcelona and Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
