Lionel Messi Scores His First Goal for PSG Against Manchester City

We’ve been waiting for Lionel Messi to score his first goal for Paris St-Germain ever since he joined the French club in August, and he finally delivered! Messi ended the search for his first goal with PSG during a recent match against Manchester City and led his new team to a glorious victory. Man City players never stood a chance against PSG’s all-star trio of Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe, but the Argentine player was the one who stole the show at their latest Champions League game. After Idrissa Gueye gave PSG an early lead, Messi managed to seal the deal 74 minutes into the game and led PSG to a 2-0 win, as Man City fell victim to their stellar play. Messi admitted he was getting desperate to score his first goal since joining the French club but added things will get better as time goes by and he develops better dynamics with his new teammates. "I hadn't played much recently and I had only played once here at home but I am settling into the team little by little. The more of us forwards play together, the better our relationship will be. We all need to grow together and improve and keep giving our best," Messi told Canal Plus following PSG's latest victory.
