Houston Astros Score Season-High 6th Straight Win Against Milwaukee Brewers

The Houston Astros have been doing pretty well this season, and they continued their domination on Friday night. The narrow 5-4 victory against the Milwaukee Brewers helped them extend their season-long winning streak to six games. Despite Jake Bauers’ solo shot and Joey Ortiz’s three hits, the Brewers struggled to hold their ground against Houston. Jake Meyers was on top of his game, hitting a two-run homer, but Jeremy Peña eventually sealed the deal with his three-run shot in the fifth inning. He led his side to the 5-4 victory and said they were feeling good after this triumph. Manager Joe Espada was pretty impressed by the team’s performance against Milwaukee, and he believes they’ll just keep getting better. “I see a team that is playing with urgency. We’ve got an edge to our game on both sides of the ball. You could see the swag, you could feel the energy and it’s time for us to pick it up,” said Espada. The Astros had a pretty disastrous start to the season, but that didn’t stop them from moving into third place in the AL West. They made a comeback and won eight of their last nine games, including the season-high sixth straight win against the Brewers.
