Champions League: Manchester City Beats Paris St-Germain 2-1

Manchester City has been on the roll since the Champions League kicked off, and they just defeated another worthy opponent. They managed to beat Paris St-Germain 2-1, after making an epic comeback in the second half. The first half was pretty slow for both teams, and they come into the second half with zero goals. Kylian Mbappe gave PSG a well-deserved lead 50 minutes into the game, but their celebration was short-lived. Manchester City made a glorious comeback as the game progressed, thanks to the goals from Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus. The Man City boss Pep Guardiola acknowledged the fact they’ve been struggling in the first half but praised the players for pushing through and called their latest game a good lesson. “Always, we try. They fought a lot because they demand a lot of effort defensively because of the quality they have with short passes. We are already qualified but today we did a good game against a top side,” Guardiola told BT Sport. Both teams secured qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League on Wednesday night. Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Liverpool are also amongst the teams to book their place in the last 16, while the draw is expected to take place on December 13.
