Arsenal Continues Premier League Domination with Epic Win Against Tottenham

Arsenal kicked this Premier League season with a bang, and they’re showing no signs of stopping. The Gunners are a clear leader in rankings right now, and their confident 3-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night proves nothing is standing in their way. Arsenal entered Saturday’s match with their London rival hungry for another win, and that’s exactly what they got. Thomas Partey opened the scoring for the Gunners, but the match took an unpredictable turn when the Spurs’ Harry Kane evened the score with a penalty shot. The second half was a different story and Tottenham simply couldn’t stand their ground to Arsenal. The goals by Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka gave the Gunners a 3-1 lead, cementing their place atop the Premier League table with 21 points, four points ahead of Man City and the Spurs. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is hoping this win will give players more belief that they can play at this level against any team, especially after defeating one of their biggest rivals. “We are really hungry, you can feel the desire and the humility, because they haven't done anything yet that's important… We are focused on what we are doing and today is another sign that we are going in the right direction, that we can play at a really high level," said Arteta.
