Wyatt Teller has proven himself as a key offensive player for the Cleveland Browns since joining the team, and he’s not leaving anytime soon. He signed a four-year extension with the Browns on Tuesday, reportedly worth $56.8 million. Teller’s contract extension comes with $28 million in guarantees, according to ESPN's Kimberley Martin. This new deal follows his dominant performance in Sunday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals when the Browns scored an epic 41-16 win. Teller joined the Browns in 2019, after a short stint with the Buffalo Bills. According to the team’s official website, he described his time with the Browns as “truly amazing”, but he believes the best is yet to come. "It's definitely a blessing. It's been an amazing year. I thank God for that. But I continue to say it: The work has just begun. I have to continue to play at a high level and earn what this is," said Teller. During Teller’s time on the team, Andrew Berr came back on board as a general manager and put a lot of effort into developing Cleveland's offensive line. In addition to calling the shots on Teller’s extension, he also signed All-Pro right tackle Jack Conklin to a three-year deal worth $42 million in early 2020.
