Max Verstappen came into this year’s World Championship as a defending champion, and he’s proving his domination with each new race. The triumph at the British Grand Prix marks his sixth win in a row and a record-equaling 11th consecutive victory for Red Bull. Verstappen left the competition in the dust at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, scoring his sixth win in a row. By doing so, he extended Red Bull’s winning streak from last season to 11 consecutive victories, equaling the record McLaren set in their historic 1988 season with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. "It was a pretty crazy qualifying, very hectic and slippery in places. I had a little 'incident' in the pitlane, understeered when I turned in, and the car went straight on. I think there was quite a bit of damage. Other than that, very happy," he said post-race. Verstappen once again finds himself in a position where it’s tough to imagine anyone outracing him by the end of the season. He’s 99 points ahead of his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, but we’re only ten races into the World Championship so there’s enough time for things to turn around.
