After Tom Brady retired and unretired earlier this year, he left us all wondering for how long he intends to play football. The superstar quarterback discussed his plans for the future in an in-depth interview with Variety and said he wants to take a “year to year” approach as he goes along. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said that he doesn’t have another five years left in him, ruling out the possibility of playing until he’s 50. He added that he plans to make “year-to-year” decisions in the future based on what feels right. "I want to do it my way. I want to give it everything I got and see where I'm at. My body feels really good. I've had a lot of traumatic injuries over the years, but if things go really smoothly and we win, that'd be great," said Brady. The seven-time Super Bowl champion announced his retirement back in February, but all hell broke loose when he decided to unretire just 40 days later. Brady told Variety that retirement felt like the best decision at the time, but he realized that he still could play and compete after having conversations with his wife, his former coach Bruce Arians, and the Bucs’ general manager Jason Licht.
