Super Bowl LVI Announces Halftime Show Headliners
by privatebet.com - 2021/10/01
Super Bowl is one of the biggest sports spectacles of the year, and there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding each aspect of this event. The halftime show is no different, and we finally know who’ll be in charge of headlining it when the Big Game returns this winter. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige will take the stage during the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles. Pepsi is in charge of sponsoring this year’s event and their marketing VP Todd Kaplan explained why these five hip-hop heavyweights are the perfect pick for the upcoming halftime show. “Artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were at the forefront of the West Coast hip hop revolution, so to be able to bring them back to LA, where it all began alongside Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will prove to be an epic, unforgettable celebration of the impact hip hop has today,” said Kaplan. Other aspects of Super Bowl LVI are still a mystery, and we’ll have to wait for the NFL season to really heat up before we see who made it to the big finale. The Big Game will take place on February 13, marking this first Super Bowl to be held on the second Sunday in February since the regular NFL season expended from 16 to 17 games.
