Despite being 35, Stephen Curry is still on top of his game – and he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. While discussing his future in the NBA in a recent interview, the Golden State Warriors star said he wants his career to have the longevity of LeBron James’. Curry is entering his 15th season in the NBA, and he discussed what’s to come during an appearance on a recent episode of Gilbert Arena's podcast. When asked if he sees himself playing for as long as LeBron James, who’ll soon return for his 21st season, Curry said that this is a goal he aspires to. “It’s somewhere in that range, but I never imagined myself being the forty-plus dude trying to hold on for dear life. But who knows what my body will look like or feel like at that point? I got three years left on my deal, including at least that, and then kind of figure it out from there,” he explained. Just last season, Curry became the first player in NBA history to score at least 10,000 career points off of three-pointers. He also surpassed Michael Jordan as a player with most 50+ point games after turning 30, and he’s tied for this record with Wilt Chamberlain at seven games.
