Stephen Curry Crowned as MVP of NBA All-Star Game

This year’s NBA All-Star Game was one for the books, and Stephen Curry was shining brighter than any other player. He helped Team LeBron claim a 163-160 win over Team Durant by scoring 50 points and setting several major All-Star Game records along the way. Curry finished the game with epic 16 three-pointers, easily breaking the All-Star Game’s previous record of nine. He also set a record for most three-pointers scored in one quarter (six) and half (eight), earning himself the All-Star MVP Award along the way. "This trophy has a very special meaning, honoring Kobe and Gigi, everybody that was lost two years ago I’m very humbled, very blessed and I really appreciate it," said Curry after the game. He led Team LeBron to the 163-160 victory over Team Durant but wasn’t the only one responsible for this epic win. It was also a big night for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished the game with 30 points, and the team captain LeBron James with 24. LeBron’s rival Kevin Durant had to miss the game due to a knee injury, but his team was in safe hands with Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, and LaMello Bell. The game was difficult to call until the very last minute, but Team LeBron eventually managed to secure their fifth consecutive All-Star win.
