Sacramento Kings Defeat Boston Celtics To Claim NBA Summer League Title

NBA Summer League is always full of many amazing twists and turns, and this year's championship didn't leave us disappointed. Sacramento Kings blew out Boston Celtics to score the summer league title for the first time since 2014. This year's NBA Summer League tournament took place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas between August 8-17. A total of 30 teams took part, but the Kings eventually came out victorious after cruising to an easy 100-67 victory over the Celtics. This is the second time they've been crowned as the champions, and they're the first team to win two separate summer league titles. Louis King earned finals MVP honors for his tremendous performance with the Kings and scored a total of 21 points throughout the championship game. He's hoping they'll be able to continue their winning strike and bring the same kind of passion to the court once the regular season kicks off. "Our transition, that's what started it, our defense and transition points, that's what it came down to. I feel like everything we're doing now, that we're doing all summer, and what we've been doing is just going to translate into our regular-season team," said King in a statement.
