Max Verstappen Takes Fourth Win in Row at Austrian Grand Prix

Max Verstappen is on a quest to win his third Formula 1 title, and his odds are looking better than ever. The defending World Champion continued his domination at the Austrian Grand Prix, where he scored his fourth win in a row. Verstappen easily outraced the competition in Austria and left Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez in the dust. This is his fourth consecutive win and sixth overall this season, and it moves him 81 points clear of Perez in the championship rankings. Verstappen is so far ahead of the competition that some of his rivals think it’s impossible to stop him, including Leclerc who came second in Austria. "I'm not in Max's race. He's in another one, all on his own. He is too fast to hold back. So there's no point in trying… Max had much fresher tires. They are also quicker whenever we have the same tires so it's not like I tried to push like crazy,” said Leclerc post-race. Austrian Grand Prix will also be remembered for Lewis Hamilton’s outburst after he received a ten-second time penalty for exceeding track limits. He was so frustrated that the Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff, had to intervene on the radio, telling him, “Lewis the car is bad, we know. Please drive it.”
