Max Verstappen has been pushing boundaries since the start of the season, and he made history for Red Bull with his latest triumph. His victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix marked the 12th consecutive win for Red Bull, setting a new Formula 1 record along the way. This year’s Hungarian Grand Prix was one to remember for Verstappen, even after he lost the pole position to Lewis Hamilton. He was on top of his game in the actual race and easily returned back to the front, leaving McLaren’s Lando Norris and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez in the dust. This marks the 12th consecutive win for Red Bull, breaking an all-time record previously held by McLaren with their winning streak of 11 races, set by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in 1988. Verstappen said it’s really enjoyable to find this kind of success with his whole team and added he’s hoping they’ll be able to keep the momentum going. "People forget how tough it is to win 12 in a row. Even when you have the fastest car, it is easy to make mistakes or have an off weekend. We had weekends where the gap was a bit smaller than we would have liked but we also have weekends where we surprised ourselves,” said Verstappen post-race.
