LeBron James Leads Lakers Against Pacers After Returning From Suspension

LeBron James received the first suspension of his career in a recent match against the Detroit Pistons, but it didn’t take him long to make a comeback. He returned in Wednesday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 124-116 win. The Lakers played their latest game in Anthony Davis’ absence, as he had to miss it due to flu-like symptoms, but still managed to come out victorious. James was on top of his game and managed to score season-high 39 points, closely followed by Russell Westbrook with 20. Despite James’ amazing performance, the game was pretty unpredictable, but the Lakers proved their domination as it entered overtime. They were already in a 110-104 lead before the buzzer forced overtime after James brought them back from a 12-point deficit. This game marks James’ comeback after he was suspended on Sunday night for striking Pistons center Isaiah Stewart in the face. He discussed the ban after defeating the Pacers and said he felt it was uncalled for. "I thought it warranted an ejection because of what happened after that - having me probably still in the game, and the excitement from fans, what could possibly happen after that, obviously. But a suspension, I didn't think it was warranted. But the league made that call,” explained James.
