Keven Durant Moves To 10th Spot on NBA's All-Time Scoring List

The Phoenix Suns were narrowly defeated by the Denver Nuggets in their latest match, but it was still a night to remember for Keven Durant. He pushed his career total to 27,423 points to overtake Moses Malone for 10th spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list on Friday night. Durant was on top of his game against the Nuggets, and he put up 30 points and 11 assists, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Suns to another win. They suffered a 119-111 defeat to Denver, who owe their latest victory to the joint efforts of Nikola Jokic, Reggie Jackson, and Michael Porter Jr. Durant joins NBA’s list of the top ten scorers at the age of 35, during his 16th season in the NBA. He’s averaging 31.2 points per game this season and is second only behind Philadelphia 76ers’ MVP Joel Embiid. Durant addressed his latest accomplishment while speaking to reporters post-game and said it was a long journey to be up here and be mentioned with the greats. “It takes a lot of work, it takes a lot of preparation, and a lot of people to help you get to that point. I'm grateful and thinking about the people that helped me get to this point: all my teammates, coaches, family, friends that invested in me since (I was) a kid," said Durant.
