This win carries a lot of weight for Rahm because it’s his tenth PGA Tour title, meaning he’s one PGA Tour ahead of his idol and fellow Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros. "Beating Seve, I know he didn't play full time on the PGA Tour… but still, to reach that milestone of double-digit wins is pretty incredible. And to do it at a golf course with this legacy, this history and hosted by the man himself, Tiger Woods, it's a true honor," said Rahm. This win also puts Rahm atop the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time since March 2022, with Scottie Scheffler in the close second spot.
