Joel Embiid Scores 41 as Philadelphia 76ers Beat Boston Celtics

We can always count on Joel Embiid to give it his all on the court, and he went all-in during the Philadelphia 76ers’ latest game against the Boston Celtics. He led his team to a 108-103 win by scoring 41 points throughout the game. Embiid was fantastic from the very beginning, but he came out with guns blazing in the fourth quarter. He scored 17 points in the final frame, and the coach Doc Rivers praised him for taking his shots and added that the team’s “execution down the stretch was absolutely perfect.” Despite Embiid’s best efforts, this wasn’t an easy game to win. The 76ers faced many ups and downs this season, and Ben Simmons’s exit was just the beginning of their troubles. Embiid missed several games due to a positive Covid-19 diagnosis, and he had to carry the team on his shoulders following his return, with several players out due to injuries or NBA’s healthy and safety protocols. “I gotta do it every night. Right now, it’s a lot tougher because we got a bunch of guys out and haven’t been winning. So that was one that we needed. This is a pretty good team. They are way better than what their record says,” said Embiid after beating the Celtics.
