James Harden’s transfer drama finally came to an end this month, as he left the Philadelphia 76ers for the Los Angeles Clippers. The veteran NBA star finally scored his very first victory with the LA Clippers against the Houston Rockets and said he could feel the improvement in his game. Harden officially left Philadelphia for Los Angeles on November 1, when he was traded alongside P. J. Tucker and Filip Petrušev in exchange for Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, Kenyon Martin Jr., and Robert Covington. This marked the end of months-long transfer drama involving Harden and the Sixers’ management, including the team’s president Daryl Morey. Harden made his debut with the Clippers on November 6, but it took him a while to find his footing. He scored 24 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and game-winning three-pointer in the Clippers’ recent win against the Rockets and said he’s “getting really close” to himself with every game. “We've still got a long way to go, but obviously it felt good to get a win. You can't take those for granted. But like I continue to say, it's a building process, and I can see a lot of (areas for) improvement on both sides of the ball to correct and get used to,” Harden told the reporters post-game.
