Conor McGregor Plotting His UFC Return for April 2024

It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Conor McGregor enter the UFC ring, but he’s finally gearing up for a comeback. After submitting his first drug test since re-joining the UFC’s anti-doping program, McGregor said he’s planning to come back in April next year. The former two-division UFC champion suffering a devastating loss against Dustin Poirier in 2021, McGregor took a break from the UFC to give his broken leg some time to recover. He was hoping to make a comeback this year but didn’t re-enter the UFC’s anti-doping program in time to accomplish this goal. McGregor is now targeting a comeback in April next year, and he told MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn that he just wants to get active again and become the best version of himself before he calls it a day. “I’ve been kept from my living for almost three years now. Understand that. I came through what I came through. I’m sitting on an injury and a loss… I must return to my way of living. This is my job. It’s beyond frustrating. I just want the date. Give me the date, please. That’s it,” said McGregor. McGregor was supposed to face Michael Chandler in the ring after coaching The Ultimate Fighter 31 together. The face-off between the two could still happen, but the date is yet to be determined.
