Bulls Dealt First Loss of the Season During Tense Match Against Knicks

The Chicago Bulls kicked off the ongoing NBA season with an impeccable score, but their triumph didn’t last for too long. The New York Knicks handed them their first loss of the season in a tense face-off on Thursday night. The winner was difficult to call until the very last second, but the Knicks eventually managed to score a close 104-103 victory. Kemba Walker helped the Knicks win this one by scoring 21 points, while RJ Barrett added 20 and Julius Randle ended the game with 13 points. The Knicks shouldn’t relax after this victory because it was a pretty close call. Their coach Tom Thibodeau is aware they have a long way to go, but he’s confident in his players. “Right now, we’re still getting a feel for each other. Every game we’re getting better and better. I love the fact that everyone is sacrificing for the team and putting the team first. That’s how you win big in his league,” said Thibodeau after the match. Despite the fact this is their first loss of the season, the Bulls don’t see it as a huge blow. They lost by just one point, and several players – including Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and DeMar DeRozan – scored 20 points or more, proving they’re still a force to be reckoned with.
