Antonio Brown Breaks Silence on His Shocking Tampa Bay Buccaneers Exit

Antonio Brown shocked the NFL world after leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the New York Jets in fury on Sunday night, and he’s now sharing his side of the story. The wide receiver claims he was “cut” from the team after refusing to play with an injured ankle. Brown released a lengthy statement explaining his side of the story and claimed he refused to play due to an injured ankle that will most likely require surgery. He also claimed that the Bucs coach Bruce Arians shouted at him, “YOU'RE DONE!” and didn’t call for medical attention after Brown made it clear that he’s hurt. “I didn't quit. I was cut. I didn't walk away from my brothers. I was thrown out… I know we were losing to the Jets and that was frustrating for all of us. But I could not make football plays on that ankle,” said the wide receiver. Brown made headlines after walking off the field in the third quarter of Tampa Bay’s Sunday night game against the Jets. Following his public outburst, Arians said that Brown is “no longer a Buc” and denied having knowledge about his injuries. Despite his repeated claims that Brown is not a part of the team, the Bucs are yet to formally release him.
